Peren is a Turkish-American actor, producer, and artist raised in New Jersey and based in Los Angeles.

She creates and supports art that imagines possibilities beyond our reality. She finds home in plays that explore femininity/female friendships, and examine how culture, tradition, and the immigrant and second-generation experience shape identity and our sense of belonging.

She is proudly an alum of The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals as part of the 2024 cohort, making her Off-Broadway acting debut in a theater she has dreamt of performing in: Classic Stage Company.

She is currently the Associate Producing Artistic Director at HERO Theatre in Los Angeles, having been the point producer on their last three productions. She most recently was a producer and performer on The Secret of the Coral Reef, commissioned by Puerto Rico's Department of Natural and Environmental Resources and presented in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, as part of 2026 Coral Reef Week.

She graduated from USC’s School of Dramatic Arts with a degree in Theatre (Acting Emphasis) and had opportunities to be part of classic, contemporary, and devised works. She found her interest in producing theatre when she was the Artistic Director of Aeneid Theatre Company at USC, a student-run theatre company.

She loves Shakespeare, chocolate desserts, full bookshelves, and perfecting her Muay Thai roundhouse kick.
